The body mass index (BMI) was created in 1869 by Adolphe Quetelet, a Belgian mathematician, sociologist, founder of scientific statistics.
The BMI value allows you to assess the degree of correspondence between a person’s weight and his height. The resulting digital value shows whether your weight is within the normal range or there are deviations in one direction or another.
In our calculator you can get free BMI calculations, as well as get information on your ideal weight and percentage of body fat.
For the calculation, you only need to enter your age, weight and height.
